Elva Hsiao’s latest 2008 album <3 Faces of Eve> drops on the 15th of this month, released simultaneously across all of Asia!

Sincere, independent, brave? See three brand-new sides of Elva Hsiao all at once! A massive breakthrough for the Chinese-language music scene! An ultra-ambitious, fully conceptual album! “I’ll be there” (By Your Side) goes all-in on the fashion-sport look and completely overturns Elva’s established image! “Impulse” — the tear-jerking ballad lead single — its rain-soaked music video weaves a gorgeous, romantic storyline, and they spared no expense flying in South Korea’s hottest drama star Jang Hyuk for a cross-border collaboration. The plot plays with creative storytelling, and the production was a huge undertaking, with a total budget of nearly 4 million! Elva trained in martial arts with Wu Jing, a giant of Chinese martial arts, and studied dance with Luam, the lead street-dance choreographer for Ciara and Rihanna. The music video was shot across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, taking 16 days and nearly 5 million in production costs!

Everyone can hold different personalities and facets at the same time. Everyone can be a 3-faced Eve striving for love and dreams: the sincere Eve, who waits for love; the independent Eve, who shines for love; the brave Eve, who stands strong for love.

On her brand-new 2008 album “3 Faces of Eve,” Elva Hsiao shows off three completely different sides: sincere, independent and brave — and switches up her look all over the place across three lead music videos! The album doesn’t just pack in rich, diverse musical elements; it’s also full of gripping dramatic tension! The first lead single, “I’ll be there” (By Your Side), goes all-in on the fashion-sport look and completely overturns Elva’s established image! “Impulse” is the album’s first tear-jerking ballad lead single; its rain-soaked music video weaves a gorgeous, romantic storyline. On top of that, they spared no expense flying in South Korea’s hottest drama star Jang Hyuk for a cross-border collaboration, with the plot built around creative twists and turns — Elva and Jang Hyuk meeting by chance in a café serves as the spine, from which different story versions branch out. The production was a huge undertaking, with a total budget of nearly 4 million! And in the “More More More” music video, Elva transforms into a female race car driver, speeding and dancing, training in martial arts and working the wire rig to show off her fight-scene acting!

With “3 Faces of Eve,” Elva makes a fresh start this time around — not only breaking past her old self, but adding a whole new look to the Chinese-language music scene!

Life is her runway. Confidence makes her freer — the 3-faced Eve. The brand-new 2008 single I’ll be there (By Your Side). Wherever there is music, there is Elva Hsiao.

In late April, Asia’s fashion dance queen Elva Hsiao — who made a triumphant return to her former home EMI Virgin Music for a nine-figure sum — is about to officially release her long-in-the-works album of the year, “3 Faces of Eve,” across all of Asia on 6/15! The first single is out ahead of schedule: “I’ll be there” (By Your Side). In the music video for this song, ELVA pulls off the perfect interpretation of sport and fashion, showing off the mix-and-match charm of the ever-changing Eve: she wears designer gowns from LANVIN, TOGA and others while playing with a rhythm ball and a hula hoop, and takes the street-sport look onto the runway, showing off a confidence that is uniquely E! Just like the concept “I’ll be there” (By Your Side) sets out to convey — “confidence brings freedom, dreams keep turning” — wherever the music is, ELVA will be there with you!
