Watched SGA Season 5 Episode 1.

Sheppard still feels a lot of guilt over Ford’s fall. So this time, he doesn’t want something like what happened to Ford to happen to his own team members again. To save Teyla, he risked his life, completely throwing caution to the wind. He clearly should have had emergency surgery to overhaul his internal organs, but instead he disobeyed orders, went deep into the lion’s den, and fought his way out. PS: Uh, I actually think this part should have been more emotional, shot to be more dangerous, to make people nervous. Sweatdrop, Teyla named her child Tughan John Emmagan — father’s name + Sheppard’s name + her own surname… It seems the people on her planet are a matriarchal society….. But I can’t figure it out, Teyla actually had an ONS with Kanan…

At the end of this episode, Carter was removed from her post by the IOA, and the one who replaced her as the head of Atlantis was actually that coward Whoosey~ I still remember that Ancient team returning to Atlantis, sending the Atlantis expedition folks back to Earth, and leaving only Whoosey as liaison. Later, Atlantis was overrun by Replicators, and the part where Whoosey and General ONell were hiding together was really hilarious. Hmm, looks like this guy should have learned his lesson by season 5. Whoosey really feels like a boss-level troublemaker, but since he can be the boss of Atlantis, the plot will probably have him gradually get familiar with Sheppard’s team — familiar to the point where he can openly turn a blind eye to Sheppard’s disobeying orders…. PS: Seeing Whoosey’s appearance, especially his hairstyle, I feel very sorry. Carter left, and here comes a “lighting technician” with a different style, not as easy on the eyes, eh.
