These three days are a national mourning period. We mourn for our compatriots who lost their lives in the earthquake, and pray that they pull through this ordeal as soon as possible and rebuild their homes soon.

For these three days of national mourning, all the big websites have gone gray. How is that actually done?

Version 1: html { filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(grayscale=1);

Version 2: body{filter:gray;}

Unfortunately, both of these only work in IE. I have no idea how it’s done in FF. If any of you know FF well, please share a method that works in FF.
