The main focus of the new AIR release is a lot of internationalization support — it currently supports 11 languages! Besides English, there’s Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Italian, and Russian. The runtime picks the language based on the operating system. It also improves the robustness and consistency of enterprise deployment. Memory and performance gains go without saying.
