疯狂约会美丽都 Les triplettes de Belleville, also known as The Triplets of Belleville. Watched it today. The first 5 minutes made me decide this was a unique and great piece of animation. So I paused it, hurriedly ate my meal, very reverently closed all my other programs, and gave Les triplettes de Belleville my undivided attention.
I stumbled on this movie this afternoon. It’s no blockbuster, but it’s a genuinely rare gem. The cast gives me the same feeling as watching a DND live-play video. The imagination runs wild, it’s got a real spoof vibe, and it’s a lot of fun. Halfway through I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt.
These past two months, what I’ve been watching wasn’t movies — it was loneliness… Finally, though, I watched something with a bit of substance — last night I saw District 9.
Last night I watched The Barber of Siberia until 1 a.m. before going to sleep. My mom said a friend recommended it — a really good film. Jeanne could have had a beautiful romance, but precisely because she made her living by deceiving people, misunderstandings piled up and complications multiplied. In this way, she unwittingly caused Andrei to accumulate more and more jealousy, until finally it spiraled out of control. Andrei’s jealousy drove him to do a series of things that would shape his entire life. Hot-blooded and young, he challenged a classmate stronger than himself and ended up badly wounded. When Jeanne whispered to the general to plead on his behalf, in his eyes it became an insult and a provocation from the general. In the end he attacked the general with a piano wire, was exiled to Siberia, and ruined his own future.
There’s word on IMDB.com that David Wenham may play Arthas in Sam Raimi’s World of Warcraft movie. Wenham is from New South Wales, Australia, played Faramir in The Lord of the Rings, and has appeared in Frank Miller’s 300 and in Van Helsing. The origin and accuracy of the rumor have yet to be confirmed.
The Time Traveler’s Wife hits theaters in August this year.

Its character designs are adorable, the plot is witty and humorous, and these endlessly entertaining stories are never short on educational value. Every night, whenever I go to that restaurant near the office and Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf comes on the TV, I’m rooted to the spot……
On 08.12.12, I watched The Fountain — a truly rare gem of a film! Through a unique story, the film recounts the protagonist’s eternal love for his wife, and reveals the meaning of life and the value of death.
