Ready to dive into Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

This is the first Chinese single-player game this year that's worth picking up. Ready to step into the world of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers? This Chinese single-player ARPG built on the ancient Shu civilization has everyone excited. My wallet already has budget set aside this year for Wuchang and Phantom Blade Zero, and then there's the British-flavored Tides of Annihilation and the neon-soaked Showa American Story that I've been keeping an eye on — feels like Chinese games are about to take off this year 🛫.

Fought Qitian Erlang, the Sacred Divinity 147 times and finally cleared it.

Little Monkey gave it everything and kept fighting after loss after loss; after 147 attempts, finally cleared Qitian Erlang, the Sacred Divinity. Just recording this for myself. Overall, it's a bit harder than the Seven-Day Great Sage's Broken Shell. With this game, taking your time with the Qitian Re-challenge is pretty fun too. Play it like a fighting game—there's mind games, and plenty of different builds to try. Steam's auto-recording is really nice; it captured the good times.

Black Myth: Wukong, booting up!

Waited four years for this, pre-ordered early, passed the performance test well in advance. Even pre-downloaded it, just waiting for it to be served up. And then — let's just say, the first trial on the journey west is the remaining time on "Extracting" hovering around one day?

Mini Ninjas is available for download now

I remember it only officially came out yesterday, and today there’s already a download… I’d like to play it too, but I never imagined a pirated copy would show up this fast. Is this game getting a lot of attention?

GTA4 Construction Site Battle Mission

Last night I got to that mission, can’t remember the exact name. It’s the one you pick up from Playboy X — head into the construction site and kill a few gang leaders. I died a ton of times. Every restart meant driving for ages just to get back to the site, and I don’t even want to talk about how much time that wasted. Sigh… The combat in this mission is great though — lots of enemies, plenty of cover, outdoors, and it doesn’t show you where all the enemies are, so it feels pretty realistic.

The legendary 《Dong Dong Never Dies》

I remember, back before I switched my blog over to WordPress — that was more than a year ago now — I came across an amateur-made fighting game online. Most of the characters are played by real people. Hilarious, brilliant, seriously impressive. I remember the author’s blog was called “Jiangxi Dinosaur’s Lair” back then. There were only a handful of characters, the story wasn’t finished, and there were plenty of bugs, haha. I downloaded it and played for a while, but after I reinstalled my system I never went back to it.

Plants vs. Zombies

Having gotten bored of every other game, and with WoW’s Chinese servers temporarily gone, I was bored out of my mind. Into this gap stepped Plants vs. Zombies — a plain but adorable, simple but fun single-player game — and it was a real eye-opener. The art is just so kawaii.
